Roman Infantry Shield Enamelled Pin Badge

This Roman Infantry Shield Enamelled pin badge is made from metal that has red enamelling and gold highlighting the detail. It is supplied on a pin with separate clasp. The scutum shield was a large rectangular curved shield used by the Legionary soldier. The pin badge is mounted on an information card that has a Roman standard on the front with a key design down the sides. The card describes the origins of Rome on the reverse.
